The Center for Spiritual Living Durham is undergoing a change of Leadership.
Kathy Moore R.Sc.P., having completed her training with the Revs. Egea in 2004, is a fully licenced Science of MIND practitioner. Kathy has been with the Center since 1998 and currently serves as the President of the Board of Trustees.
We are blessed to have with us, Rev. Sandra Minor of Greensboro (not pictured), who is giving our Sunday talks and teaching Accredited Science of MIND classes for the Center for Spiritual Living Durham now, and since December 2009. Rev. Sandra Has been a Science of Mind Minister for several years in Greensboro and is with us to offer her service as we continue on the path of growth and renewal for our Center.
Our former Ministers and Co-Pastor's since 1998, the Rev. James Egea and Rev. Joan Rich Egea, are 'rewiring' not retiring. While serving the Religious Science Church of the Triangle (CSLDurham) for ten years, the Revs. Egea taught many students of the Science of MIND and graduated five Religious Science Ministers, who now serve in Centers for Spiritual Living around North Carolina. The Egea's have moved from Durham to Angier, NC to be closer to family members.
The Revs Egea are continuing to teach classes and offer Spiritual Mind Treatment in their role as Ministers Emeritus.
The Center has begun the search for a new Minister. The Board of Trustees are working with ICSL to find and install a new Pastor for our Center. There are many steps to take before we will have a permanent Minister. We honor and value everyone's participation and patience in this process. We will keep you informed of our progress and your role in it. You are the Center for Spiritual Living of Durham.
The Center has changed its name as part of the global changes taking place in the organization of Religious Science churches now called International Centers for Spiritual Living.

Kathy is our Licensed Religious Science Practitioner and is President of the Board of Trustees of CSL Durham. She has been a member of the Center for Spiritual Living of Durham since 1998 and has been licensed to perform Spiritual Mind Treatment since 2004.
Kathy, Rev. Sandra, and Rev. James and Rev. Joan are available on most Sundays, before and after Services, for your treatment (prayer) requests.

This teaching which is a science, a philosophy, and a religion combined brought us together. Our love of this teaching and its wonderful common sense as a way of life has grown us, married us, and formed our team ministry in a desire to share our joy with others. This is not an easy path but rewarding and filled with the delight of discovery. Religious Science may not be for everyone but it can be for you if you can imagine that accepting responsibility for all your experiences puts you in charge of them. Your life can be joy and not drudgery. We feel that this Center is a spiritual oasis where all are welcome to drink their fill of the loving, nurturing, Spiritual Laws of the Universe. We encourage people to explore and expand their creativity. You will find love, understanding and a new joy in living that the Creator meant for you.
